Our Story
We started as a small operation out of Fort Myers with one truck, a set of tools, and a simple mission: give Southwest Florida homeowners a sliding door repair company they could actually trust. No upselling. No “you need a whole new door” when a $150 roller replacement would fix the problem. Just honest work, done same day, at a fair price.
Fort Myers taught us everything about what sliding doors face on the Gulf Coast. The salt air off the Caloosahatchee River and the Gulf-access canals in Cape Coral corrodes roller bearings in ways that just don’t happen inland. The summer humidity — 75%+ relative humidity for months at a stretch — destroys weatherstripping and seal units faster than any climate we’d ever worked in. And then Hurricane Ian hit on September 28, 2022, as a Category 4, and in the weeks that followed we worked across Lee County helping families get their storm-damaged sliding doors secured, repaired, and brought back up to WBDR code.
That storm defined us. It wasn’t just the volume of calls — it was the trust people placed in us when they were vulnerable, when their homes were open to the elements and they needed someone to show up, do the job right, and not take advantage of the situation. We didn’t. We still don’t.
Our History
Founded in Fort Myers
Started with a single service van covering Fort Myers and Cape Coral. First year focused on roller replacement and track repair — the most common calls in Lee County’s aging housing stock.
Florida DBPR Glass & Glazing License
Obtained our Florida DBPR Glass & Glazing Contractor license under Statute 489, allowing us to legally perform glass replacement work across Lee and Collier Counties — something many “handyman” services in the area couldn’t offer.
Expanded to Full Lee County Coverage
Added a second service van and expanded coverage to Estero, Bonita Springs, North Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres, and Fort Myers Beach. Began regularly pulling Lee County building permits for impact glass installations in the WBDR zone.
Impact Glass Specialization
Deepened our expertise in WBDR-compliant impact glass installation. Established supply relationships with PGT, CGI, and WinDoor to source impact-rated panels quickly — critical for same-day glass replacement service.
Hurricane Ian Response
Hurricane Ian made landfall near Fort Myers Beach as a Cat 4 on September 28, 2022. In the months that followed, we completed hundreds of storm-damage sliding door repairs across Lee County — securing damaged frames, replacing shattered glass, and helping families get their homes back to code. It remains the most significant period in our company’s history.
2,400+ Doors Repaired
Passed the 2,400-door milestone across Lee and Collier Counties. Expanded into regular service of Naples and Sanibel/Captiva Island communities. Maintained our same-day service commitment across the full service area.
